Education Welfare Act:

Under the terms of the Education Welfare Act, the Education Welfare Board will be aware of any child who is absent for more than 20 days during the school year. When children are absent from school for any reason, an explanation for their absenteeism must be entered on the Aladdin App by the parent/guardian.
