Arts in Education BLAST Residency Programme

The introduction of this new scheme from the Department of Education is to give students in schools all over the country the opportunity to work with a professional artist on unique projects within the school setting. Butlersbridge NS is fortunate to be working with artist Lisa McCabe who is currently working with the pupils of First and Second Classes creating a mural on “Inclusion and Diversity”. The pupils are showing great creativity and their artistic skills.

Artist Imelda Bradley is working with the pupils from Fourth to Sixth Class designing a “Jungle” theme mural. It is coming along beautifully and the children are thoroughly enjoying taking part in this.
