First Holy Communion

Time in Senior Infants & First class

The pupils in Ms Brosnan’s room were busy learning all about time this week. They had lots of fun and are now able to let teacher know when it’s lunchtime and home time!

Third class projects

Third class have been learning about weather and different types of clouds.They enjoyed making their ‘Cloud in a jar’ projects. Well done to everyone in Mrs McCauley’s room.

3rd class games

Children in 3rd class had great fun doing the Hula Hut challenge. They have also been learning about games and pastimes through the generations.


The first two weeks of our boxercise classes have seen pupils learn different movements and strikes from coach Boris. They have been introduced to gloves and pads as well and are really enjoying getting fit and learning new moves.

Third class activities

Mrs McCauley’s third class have been busy making Walkie talkies and working with 3D shapes. They have really enjoyed these activities and made a great effort with them.

World Book day

Spring smoothies

Spring has sprung in 2nd class and the pupils have been busy learning about all things spring. Pupils made ‘Spring Smoothies’, some beautiful St. Brigid’s cloaks, colourful Valentine’s Day art as well as planting cress. Well done everyone! 

Senior Infants popcorn party

Senior Infants had fun exploring the theme ‘the cinema’ during Aistear. The children worked hard creating popcorn holders and engaging in role play activities. We celebrated all their hard work with a popcorn party to finish the week.

Wellbeing Week

As part of our Amber Flag initiative, the children will have no written homework on Wednesdays.  Instead, they will have “Wellbeing  homework”.   The learning of spellings, reading and tables still applies.
